eat for education at yalla
In 2022 we started partnering with local schools throughout the Portland area to offer guests the opportunity to support their community. On specific Mondays throughout the year we donate 10% of sales to a local school in an effort to support the educational journey of our youth. To participate, just dine with us, in house or to go, on one of the specified Mondays and we’ll make sure 10% of your bill is donated to the school of the week.
In 2022 Eat For Education raised $4,746.06 for Portland area schools.

The Love Burger at Bless Your Heart Burgers was born out of chance. It all started with a crazy idea for our loyalty program where if enough loyalty points were earned, someone could put there on burger on the menu! We thought this would be something that may happen years after the launch but almost immediately after we went public with this the folks over at Kamp Grizzly reached out. They wanted to make a contribution directly to hit the milestone. The Love Burger was born and we decided to turn it into an ongoing charitable partnership. $1 of every Love Burger sold goes to one of our community partners.
So far the Love Burger has raised over $20,000 and counting!

Portland
We started the Love Burger program off at our Portland location in 2021. All Love Burger sales at our Portland location go directly to Neighborhood House.
Neighborhood House’s mission is bringing neighbors together to reduce hunger and homelessness and to educate both young and old, strengthening our community by providing resources to support self-reliance, economic independence, and dignity in people of all ages and backgrounds.
Vancouver
When we opened our Vancouver location we knew we wanted to find the perfect Love Burger partner. We landed on Harper's Playground as the partner.
Harper’s Playground is driven by the vision of a world in which everyone is included. They create playgrounds where people of all abilities connect through play and thrive. They have be involved in the production of a number of playgrounds in the Portland and Vancouver area and continue to ensure children of all abilities are able to grow up engaging in play!
Sesame Collective Private Label Wine & The Q Center
In 2023 we partnered with local winemaker LJ Brimfield to produce a private label wine for Sesame Collective restaurants. With the launch we knew we needed to design a label so we decided to involve our talented staff. We sent out a prompt and accepted a number of submissions before deciding on one to become the label.
The winner was able to select a charity to which we would donate 5% of sales from the wine. They chose the Q Center which is an organization intended to provide safe spaces, community building and empowerment for the positive transformation of LGBTQ2SIA+ communities and allies in the PNW.
adopt one block
Adopt One Block is an awesome community focused organization with the simple goal of making our city and neighborhoods cleaner and thus happier. They provide supplies to individuals who pledge to maintain a block of their choosing and they are growing fast! They have almost 8,000 Block Ambassadors and nearly 10,000 different blocks being maintained by individuals just like YOU in communities all over Oregon and Washington.
