Ras Al Hanout

Now this is an interesting one… Ras al hanout in Arabic means "head of the shop". There is no set list of spices that makes up ras al hanout. The name itself implies a mixture of the best spices that a shop has to offer. We make ours with a blend of allspice, anise, caraway, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, coriander, cumin, fennel pollen, and peppercorn. This spice blend works perfectly on a number of savory dishes and is a great one to keep on hand.
